Who runs the App
Paper Trading Lab is run by Bycha Buxton (Aerial Imagery LLC), in California. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who helps us run the App.
What we collect
Email address and name, so you can sign in and we can identify you.
Acceptance logs: which user accepted which document, which version, and when (a timestamp). We keep these as a record of your agreement.
Your practice trades and quiz answers inside the App, so we can show your progress.
Your broker choice: only the broker's name, stored so we can open that broker's public website for you. We never ask for or store your brokerage login, password, or account numbers.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
Service providers
We use a few outside companies to run the App. They handle data only to provide their service to us.
Cloudflare: hosts the App and its data.
OpenAI and TypeSafe: provide the AI models the bots use. We send them only market data and public headlines. We never send them your personal information.
An email provider: sends your sign-in links (magic links), so it receives your email address.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your access is active and as long as reasonably needed afterward, for example to keep acceptance records.
To ask us to see or delete your data, email the owner. We'll respond within a reasonable time. We may keep limited records when the law requires or allows it, such as proof that you accepted our terms.
California residents
California law may give you rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. Email the owner to make a request.
Children
The App is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the version date and may ask you to review it again.
